Let's all be honest here, our first gaming love/experiences were with board games and when it comes to pure gameplay well board games have that well and truly covered.

This amazing find, in a tomb in southeast Turkey, has turned up a collection of gaming pieces approximately 5,000 years old.  Scientists are puzzled about the exact rules or purpose of the game but I am sure there are many theories bouncing around out there.

I guess the moral of this story is to ensure you embrace your passion for gaming, after all you are continuing a tradition that is now confirmed to be at least 5 millennia old!
