Doctor Who Set To Break Through the TV Space Time Continuum

50th Anniversary Of Doctor Who To Get Worldwide Simulcast, Hopefully Includes Australia - Gizmodo Australia

In a great example of how to do it right BBC has announced that the big 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who will be played simultaneously in as many places as possible.  While the above headline is fairly conservative I think it is a safe bet that Australia will be included.

I think it is safe to say that fans will want to make sure none of the 90 minute long episode featuring both Matt Smith and David Tennant is spoiled in anyway so I think no matter what time it airs, it's going to have an audience.  By the way, it'll probably be around 6am on November 24th for us.

If this does pan out then this will be the first episode of Doctor Who I have watched at the scheduled screening time for a very long time!

Oh, and the Daleks have been confirmed!
